Our Products.

We visit the markets of Europe in our refrigerated van and hand pick most items. This allows us to get the best versions of products you may have seen, plus lots of unusual items not seen in England from small and specialist producers.

Our range of products, in particular cheese changes regularly. We do keep certain popular items such as Bleu D'Auvergne, Brie and Tomme de Savoie but the rest changes every few weeks. This helps keep it interesting for everyone with something new to try on a regular basis.

Cheese - Bleu de Auvergne

Below are just a few of our products:

Cheese - an ever evolving range. Everything from some good value Brie to a special version of Langres which has been washed in Champagne. Pop in on Saturday for a range of tasters or just ask during the rest of the week.

Pate - the Duck pate we sell is our most popular product. It doesn't look that special, but beneath the rather poor packaging is one of the best pates you can buy. It's rich, creamy and slightly addictive. At only £1.45 per 100g, a real bargain too. We also have Wild Boar, Country, Goose, Venison and Rabbit.

Gaucho Olives

Chorizo - a multi award winner year after year. The quality and flavour is amazing in the chorizo we sell. It's a little more expensive than most but the quality is a different league. If you like chorizo, you have to try ours.

Olives - we are currently really enjoying Spanish olives. The amazing if rather unusual looking Gauchos are quite popular. They are a large Spanish olive stuffed with a cornichon. On top of this, the marinade is made up with white wine vinegar to give them a little kick. Also proving quite popular are ones stuffed with anchovies.

French bread - made to a proper French recipe using all French ingredients and by a French man, you can't really ask for more authentic.

Sandwiches - ours are made using freshly baked baguettes and only high quality fillings. We buy the best ham, beef and bacon and use proper butter and decent cheese. They are good value (especially when you see the size of them) ranging from £2.00 for a duck pate or tuna salad up to £2.50 for a roast beef, topping out at £2.80 for smoked salmon or prawn.

Coffee

Coffee - award winning and very high quality coffee. Coffee as either take-out or sit in is a treat, so we use the best quality beans but charge normal prices. The beans are ground fresh for each cup meaning it's never going to be super quick - but it's more than worth the wait. Why not top it off with a piece of cake or cupcake at half the price of the chain coffee shops.

Croissants

Croissants - proper French croissants. Made with French butter and the way the French make them, it really does make a large difference to everything from the flavour to the texture.

Cupcakes - they seem to be everywhere at the moment but the trend seems to either be poor quality or a very high price. Neither of which are something you will experience with ours. In fact at only £1.20, they are a bit of a bargain compared to most.

Truffle

Truffles - currently we have two types of truffles. The absolutely stunning and rarer truffles from Perigord in France for the connoisseur to the rather bargain price Spanish ones which are accessible to anyone with £10.00 in their pocket. Truffles are perfect grated over pasta, added to a dressing for a salad or under the skin of a fresh plump organic chicken.

Store Cupboard - We have lots of items from tinned pate which is purely meat, spices and wine, no preservatives to some of the best Italian capers, fish soup, mustards to bargain priced Madagascan vanilla at 2 pods for £1.00, saffron, little French jams, risotto and Italian biscuits to name a few.
